Refund Policy

Last updated: February 2025

Introduction

At Coli Code, we are committed to delivering high-quality web development services that meet your expectations. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Project-Based Services

For custom web development projects, our refund policy is structured around project milestones:

Before Project Commencement

If you cancel before any work has begun, you are entitled to a full refund of any deposits paid, minus any non-refundable administrative fees disclosed at the time of booking.

After Project Commencement

Once work has begun, refunds are calculated based on:

  • The percentage of work completed
  • Resources and time already invested
  • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf
  • Deliverables already provided to you

2. Milestone Payments

Our projects typically follow a milestone-based payment structure:

  • Initial Deposit: Non-refundable once project planning begins
  • Development Milestones: Refundable only for work not yet started
  • Final Payment: Due upon project completion and approval

Each milestone payment covers specific deliverables outlined in your project agreement. Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.

3. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with a deliverable:

  • We offer reasonable revisions as outlined in your project scope
  • Concerns must be raised within 14 days of deliverable submission
  • We will work with you to address issues and meet agreed-upon requirements
  • If we cannot meet the original specifications, a partial refund may be considered

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Third-party software licenses or subscriptions purchased
  • Domain registration and hosting fees
  • Stock images, fonts, or other digital assets purchased
  • Consultation and strategy sessions already conducted
  • Rush or expedited service fees
  • Work completed and approved at previous milestones

5. Cancellation by Client

If you wish to cancel a project:

  • Provide written notice via email or through our contact form
  • We will assess the current project status and work completed
  • A final invoice or refund calculation will be provided within 7 business days
  • Any refund due will be processed within 14 business days of agreement

6. Cancellation by Coli Code

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a project due to:

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
  • Breach of terms by the client
  • Non-payment of agreed milestones
  • Inability to reach mutual agreement on project direction

If we cancel for reasons not attributable to the client, you will receive a full refund for any work not yet completed, plus any deliverables produced up to that point.

7. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  • Contact us through our website or email with your refund request
  • Include your project details and reason for the request
  • Our team will review your request within 5 business days
  • We will respond with a decision and any applicable refund amount
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method

8. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, we encourage open communication to reach a fair resolution. We are committed to maintaining positive client relationships and will work with you in good faith to address any concerns. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be subject to the terms outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The policy in effect at the time of your project agreement will apply to that project.
